Community Mosaic Projects

Reconnect Through Creativity

Bring people together to create a lasting piece of art that celebrates your community.

Based in Hertford, Hertfordshire, mosaic artist Claire Costello works with town and parish councils, schools, charities and community groups to create bespoke mosaics for public spaces, school grounds and community venues.

Each project starts with your ideas—whether celebrating local history, nature or something special about your area. Through guided community mosaic workshops, participants can help create sections of the finished artwork. Alternatively, Claire can develop a design inspired by community contributions and make the mosaic in her studio.

Previous projects include community mosaics in Hertford, Buntingford and Potton, artwork for Presdales School in Ware and Sheredes School.

From the first design ideas to the finished piece, every project is tailored to your space, budget and level of community involvement.
